Water System
Hydraulic Analysis
What you need to know
Hydraulic analysis means the study of the water system network evaluating water flows within the distribution system under worst case conditions such as, peak hourly design flow plus fire flow, when required. Hydraulic analysis includes consideration of all factors affecting system energy losses.
What to expect:
We analyze the surrounding water supply system, as well as the internal water distribution system, and determine the amount of flow and the level of pressure that can be anticipated at different locations on the project. This analysis will confirm the proposed development will have adequate pressure and flow during an emergency situation.
Does not include analysis of the chemical compounds or pH of water samples, only the analysis of the hydraulics of the systems. These other analyses are available at an extra cost.
Does not include Fire Hydrant Flow Testing. Client will need to contract with a separate company providing services, or directly with the Water Purveyor or Fire Department.
